This event is designed for practitioners who are returning to work after a career break, or wish to practise certain basic skills such as contact lens fitting. The one-day programme provides delegates with an opportunity to refresh core skills in a supportive environment, receive an update on important clinical and regulatory changes within the sector, as well as earn CET points across a range of competencies, including peer discussion.
Delegates will benefit from
- A refresher on communication skills and taking history and symptoms
- A chance to practise core skills including routine refraction, slit lamp examination, undilated binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy, visual fields, NCT, and contact lenses
- Peer discussion
- Earn up to 8 CET points
- An opportunity to network with peers
