AOP events update

Following the government's advice to avoid non-essential contact with others the AOP is postponing or cancelling all face-to-face events activity until the end of July. 

We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause you and are working to find alternative solutions to support the membership with access to CET activity in addition to what is already available.

What does this mean for you?

If you are booked on a face-to-face event over the next three months, we will be in contact to update you on the status of your booking and to advise of next steps. Where possible we will be looking to postpone events to later in the year but unfortunately, we will need to cancel some events. 

• If you have booked a place on an event that has been postponed, we will advise of the new date once it is confirmed
• If you have booked a place on an event that has been cancelled, we will automatically cancel your booking. If you paid for your ticket, we will email you with the next steps.

If you are booked onto an event after the next three months your booking remains unchanged.

How can I access CET outside of events?

CET is available through a number of sources at the AOP

• A range of CET, VRICS and CET Video exams are available on the OT website 
• We are planning to run webinars throughout the year and will be in touch with more information as it becomes available. Please note that not all webinars have CET associated to them.

What happens next?

We will continue to listen to government recommendations and monitor the situation over the coming weeks. We will be in touch with any further changes regarding the events programme.
