After a three-year hiatus, hospital optometrists will once again have the opportunity to meet for a weekend of dedicated face-to-face education and networking. This online session will involve a facilitated discussion with members asking for views on the Welsh Government’s proposed changes to optometry services provided in primary care in Wales.

Chief Executive, Adam Sampson will introduce the session, providing the background to the consultation and the AOP’s role in responding to it. The session will then take members through the proposed changes step-by-step, and explore their reactions to them. The research gathered will feed into the AOP’s consultation response.
