Frame of the Year 2018

International Eyewear has won in Frame of the Year 2018

Winner: International Eyewear, STORM LONDON ‘S564’

Innovation, quality, affordability and the connection with a recognised British brand are just a few of the reasons that differentiate ‘S564’ from its competitors.

International Eyewear has worked closely with Storm London to develop eyewear that is perfect for both the practice and the patient.  Understanding that customers are often drawn to brands that they can trust, especially in difficult economic times, the ‘S564’ is a good value, high quality and well-designed products for dispensing opticians to offer to their customers.

A clear design signature of Storm London watches is to embrace, not hide, the inner dials and movements. International Eyewear wanted to echo this innovation and showcase the internal construction of its eyewear, so Storm ‘S564’ uses crystal acetates encased around a stainless-steel metal skeleton.

Olivia Young, Storm London’s Marketing Manager said “The frame is flattering yet fashionable, the perfect combination. This is the first year that we have entered the AOP Awards and to be shortlisted was fantastic news … we recognise the importance of considered product design and for us to be shortlisted was confirmation that our hard work is paying off”.

"Eyewear is an accessory, eyewear is a statement and eyewear is an extension of our personal style”

Marketing Manager at Storm London, Olivia Young
