Hospital Optometrists Committee election 2017

Nominations are now being accepted for the HOC elections, to be held on 7 October

There are two seats available on the AOP’s Hospital Optometrists Committee (HOC).

The Hospital Optometrists Committee

The HOC aims to represent and support the interests of optometrists employed in the hospital service.  It pro-actively develops good practice and seeks to maintain high standards of post-graduate education within hospital optometry. HOC also helps support communications between hospital optometrists and other professionals.

The committee meets formally three times per year, usually in London. Appointments are for a period of three years, to run from the HOAC in 2017 until the HOAC in 2020.

Elections will be held at the Hospital Optometrists Annual Conference, The Queens Hotel, Leeds on Saturday, 7 October 2017.
