We are delighted to announce that writer and comedian Jo Caulfield will be hosting the 2019 AOP Awards.
Often found headlining the UK’s biggest comedy festivals, Jo appears regularly on shows such as Have I got news for you and Just a minute, and has written for Ruby Wax, Joan Rivers and Graham Norton, among others. Described as ‘brilliant, endearing, feisty and garrulous’ by The Guardian, Jo will be bringing her unique style of comedy to the AOP Awards ceremony on Sunday 13 January.
Commenting on her involvement in the event, Jo said: “It’s great to be part of the AOP Awards, recognising the amazing work of everyday eye health heroes and those inspiring the next generation of optometrists. I’m looking forward to celebrating with the winners and finalists on the night.”
The 2019 AOP Awards ceremony will take place during leading education and trade event 100% Optical, 12-14 January. To find out more about the AOP Awards, and how to book your team a table, visit the event page.
