Patient case studies are an essential part of this work – providing a crucial hook for our media activities. Through a human interest angle we can explain optical issues in a way that is tangible and accessible to the public.
We will soon be launching new public facing campaigns and we’d like to explain your role from the perspective of those people who benefit most from your care. So please get in touch if you’re aware of any patients who are happy to talk about their experiences. We’ll use these stories to support our media work and also help raise the profile of your practice.
The stories can relate to everyday eye problems, patients wearing glasses or contact lenses for the first time, as well as more life-changing stories relating to early detection of serious health conditions. Or perhaps a patient has had a particularly good experience and is willing to share their story to encourage others to look after their eyes.
