The AOP will be holding a one day conference for employed optometrists on Sunday 28 October at the Chesford Grange Hotel. Some topics covered are employment protection and transfer of udertakings regulations, pay negotiations, different modes of practice, indemnity insurance, problems arising from re-examination and referral and starting your own practice.
The cost of the conference is £15.00 (including VAT). If you require overnight accommodation on Saturday night, the cost is £145.00 (including VAT). This includes an evening reception and dinner on Saturday followed by the Employed Practitioners Conference on Sunday.
