Retinal Evaluation: Beyond the Ophthalmoscope

There is a variety of instrumentation for diagnosis of retinal disorders and glaucoma. This course reviews the mechanisms and indications for imaging studies using confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, optical coherence tomography and scanning laser polarimetry and compares them with standard clinical observations using ophthalmoscopy. The course will contain case examples.
